Friday: April 13th, 2018

  • Race bib pickup at Sports Basement Sunnyvale 4:00pm to 8:00pm (more details are listed on the Event Details pages).
    • ***Sports Basement is offering a special 20% discount on purchases. Just show your bib number at checkout. 

Saturday: April 14th, 2018

  • 1:00pm: Festival opens  with live music and food trucks. Packet pickup begins
  • 3:00pm: Food Truck 5k Start
  • 4:15pm: Silicon Valley Kids Run
  • 6:00pm: Sunset Yoga
  • 7:30pm: Food Truck Music Festival and packet pickup ends

Sunday: April 15th, 2018

  • 6:30am – 7:45am: Gear Check open for 10k/Half Marathoners
  • 8:00am: 10k/Half Marathon Start
  • 8:00am – 1:00pm: Post-Race Festival Open
  • 10:00am: 10k/Half Marathon Awards Ceremony
  • 1:00pm: Post-Race Festival Ends

RACE BIB PICKUP

You may pick up your bib and event shirt Friday at Sports Basement and at the Food Truck 5k & Festival on Saturday. A copy of your race confirmation or a photo ID is required for bib pickup. Plus, a valid ID also must be presented in order to receive a beer garden bracelet. Group pickup is available

  • Saturday, April 14th, 2018 — Arena Green East from 1:00pm to 7:30pm (in conjunction with the Food Truck Music Festival)
  • Sunday, April 15th, 2018 – Start Line from 6:00am-7:30am
  • Bib mailing deadline has passed.

***NOTES: Race Day packet pickup is available, but is limited and can present long lines.  We encourage those who plan on picking up race day to show up early.  Race day participant shirt will only be available at the finish line.***

Bib Mailing: If your bib was mailed to you, you do not need to attend packet pickup.  Your finisher shirt will be available for pickup at the finish line festival on race day.

Remote Runners: Remote Runners do not need to attend packet pickup.  Your items will be mailed to you the week after the race.

Group Bib Pickup for groups of four or more is available. Forms Due Wednesday, April 11th at 5:00pm. The form is available here.

Both the half marathon and 10k start line will be in front of City Hall in Downtown San Jose at the corner of N 4th St and E Santa Clara St.  Restrooms, gear check, race morning packet pickup, medical tent and information booth will all be available at the starting area.

FINISH LOCATION: ARENA GREEN

The finish will be on Autumn St between W. St. John St and W Santa Clara St. Our post-race celebration will take place throughout Arena Green East.  We will share more details on this as the planning continues.

SHIRTS & SWAG

You can pick up your race shirt (0r shirts if you’re running Saturday and Sunday) at our race bib pickup events or after your race in the finish festival. If you ordered your bib to be mailed to you, you’re race shirt will be available at the finish festival.

COURSE TIME LIMIT

Half Marathon: 3 hours 45 minutes, or 17 minutes per mile pace. This time limit begins at the start of the race. Runners who are unable to maintain a 17 minute per mile pace may be turned around early or redirected to the adjacent sidewalk at mile 5.5 if they do not arrive at that location (Market St and San Carlos St) by 9:35 AM, and at 9.25 miles (Naglee Ave and Dana Ave) by 10:40 AM. Aid stations, official finish times, finisher medals and post-race food/water are only available to those who maintain a 3:45 finish pace or below.

10k: 2 hours, or 19 minutes per mile pace. This time limit begins with the final wave start. Runners who are unable to maintain a 19 minute per mile pace may be turned around early or redirected to the adjacent sidewalk. Aid stations, official finish times, finisher medals and post-race food/water are only available to those who maintain a 2 hour finish pace or below.

5k: 1 hour, or 19 minutes per mile pace. This time limit begins with start of the race. Runners who are unable to maintain a 19 minute per mile pace may be turned around early or redirected to the adjacent sidewalk. Aid stations, official finish times, finisher medals and post-race food/water are only available to those who maintain a 1 hour finish pace or below.

We will have experienced pacers to help pace you to a personal best. There are a total of 7 pace groups available. 1:30 (6:51/mi) 1:45 (8:00/mi) 2:00 (9:09/mi) 2:15 (10:17/mi) 2:30 (11:26/mi) 2:45 (12:35/mi) 3:00 (13:44/mi)
